Maybe Kanye West isn’t as “Famous” as he thought — at least among some Jeopardy! contestants. During a recent airing of the popular game show, host Alex Trebek read this answer from the category “I’d Like to Thank”: “Kanye West for giving us so many different versions to choose from this early 2016 album.” Of course, he’s referring to West’s chart-topping The Life of Pablo, but no one was able to come up with the proper response.

It’s not the first time West has been featured on the show. In February of this year, a contestant called the Chicago multi-hyphenate an inspiration and said he’d vote West for president in 2020 and the Yeezy designer was also an answer: “According to this rapper, Yeezus is his ‘God name.’” Prior to that, in 2014 the category of “Pop Culture Relatives” put the rapper in the company of Batman with the answer “Kanye West and Adam West.”
Perhaps the reason why the recent crop of contestants struggled to come up with the right question is because, like many people, they’re fed up with his attention grabbing antics, whether it was bringing Wiz Khalifa’s son into their Twitter feud, or even the constant tinkering with The Life of Pablo which inspired the Jeopardy question in the first place. One thing’s for sure, though, West isn’t going to stop stirring sh*t up with provocative content anytime soon, no matter what other people think.
